The HAVASI Experience
My photographic experience of two Havasi concerts
.
It all started on a gloomy April evening, as I sat in front of my TV, channel surfing on YouTube. There was nothing special to watch until I stumbled upon a video that began with a drum roll in a crowded concert hall the song Prelude Age of Heroes
The more the video played, the more I was carried away by the music, the singing, and the solo by a pianist who was unknown to me but who would become one of the most beautiful musical and photographic encounters and experiences.
I had only one thing on my mind: when would Havasi be performing? In Poland in mid-December. After contacting Havasi's event manager, I was booked to photograph the two concerts that would take place in Wroclaw and Krakow.
Eight months have passed, and it's up to me to prepare the equipment to take, I chose two Sony a7IV cameras with the Sigma 14mm F1.4 DG DN , Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II, Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN & Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG DN II lenses.
The two concerts are being held in two very different venues:
the historic Hala Scala and the modern Tauron Arena.

7:30 p.m., the hall is packed, the audience eagerly awaits the start of the concert, and suddenly the lights go out and the show begins.
Havasi came out to greet the audience and had a surprise in store for them... a short speech in Polish, much to the delight and happiness of the spectators!

Then came the long-awaited moment, eight minutes that will remain etched in our memories forever... a piece of music that left no one in the audience indifferent or unmoved, to the point that I could no longer hold my cameras.
